These images were inspired by a Childe Hassam painting in the MFA. Shortly after arriving in America I saw “Boston Common at Twilight”. I hadn’t
seen the place but I wanted to be in that painting and spent many hours in front of it. It still influenced the way I visually saw it many years later.
